OUR APPROACH
We reviewed the brief giving our input on how the script might work as a piece of motion graphics. We needed to keep the aesthetics clean, neat and follow the same colours and style as previous work completed for Helios Investment Partners. We also had to ensure that the right balance was struck between both entities. The animation was used as part of a presentation to investors virtually (held online because of travel restrictions in place due to Covid 19.
THE PROJECT
Sketch was commissioned by Helios Investment Partners, the leading private equity fund focusing on Africa, managing funds totalling $3.6 billion. With strong operational teams on the ground, Helios makes significant investments across multiple sectors and generates value through efficiencies and local market insight. Helios needed to produce a short animation to explain to investors a new transaction that had created a new publicly listed fund focused on investments in Africa.
THE RESULT
“Sketch produced our annual film; it was the first time we changed production team for some time, and judging from the audience’s feedback, it was our best film to date. Jeremy and the team were great listeners, balancing meeting our requests with exercising their own creative skill and judgement. They were extremely adaptable in some challenging environments, and extremely receptive to feedback, patient with iteration and ultimately a pleasure to work with. We look forward to working with them on next year’s production.”
