BECOMING A ‘B CORP’
OUR APPROACH
We reviewed the brief giving our input on a subtle and clear visual style that would help communicate this key milestone in the firm’s history. When producing a motion graphic animation, it’s important to get the script finalised and the voice over recorded as soon as possible. We sourced the right American actor to provide the voice over and arranged a studio session. The client approved the end result and we immediately got to work on the animation. This involved produced 3 different style ideas in a mood board for the client to review. Once the style was selected, the designer started creating the assets which were then approved by the client. Once the assets had been approved, we started animating the sequence. The client was given two full reviews of the visuals - we worked through the minor changes until we had approval.
THE PROJECT
Sketch was commissioned by Helios Investment Partners, the leading private equity fund focusing on Africa, managing funds totalling $3.6 billion, to produce an animation about its change of status, becoming a B corp. This project needed to be completed on a tight deadline. This was the first time the client had produced a stand alone animation project.
